Hello!
These days are getting colder and colder. I live in a dormitory, so I'm so happy that dinner waits for me to come back to the dormitory. Especially today, the menu was Tan-Tan Men! It was hot and of course delicious.
Anyway, I totally forgot to write about my book. And I couldn't read the book enough because of lack of time. I read only 10 pages during last week.. I'll read more than 10 pages until nest Tuesday, so please wait ;(
Then I’ll tell you about my book.
The writer, Jenni had an eating disorder, and
she were suffering from it, for example she gave up to study to become a doctor
and selected to sing a song, because of ED. Moreover she had to cancel her
wedding, though it would be the next day, because she thought she could not believe she can spend good wedding life with the eating disorder. The she tried
to divorce not only her husband (It’s not true, because she did not get married.)
but also her eating disorder.
The hardest time for her to recover from ED
was written in her first book, “Life without ED”, and she said this time was “significantly
recovered” time for her. And in this book, she wrote the time of “fully
recovered”. I’ll explain the meaning.
This meaning is “having a healthy
relationship with her body, as well as finding joy and peace in my life” for
her. To achieve this state, she did many things (I don’t know in detail, because
it was written in her first book.), and at first she could recover from ED
completely. However she noticed that she paid attention to ED not to return ED.
And this means her effort could not pay off. Moreover at the time, her father
got a cancer, so her condition was getting worse, too.
So in this book, she wrote how to recover
from ED fully, for example we should depend on some professional help. She also
ask to help her to therapist and so on. She told us that we could not overcome
ED without them.
After I read this section, I think she got
harder experience than I thought. I imagined that ED is not so serious disorder,
but it changed her life more than once. It was amazing for me. I could not think
I give up my dreams because of a disorder. When I selected this book, I wanted
to know he feeling and story of people who have the ED, so I think I can learn
it gradually.
This is all that I read so far. Next
section will be about her first experience to recover from ED fully. I’m
getting interested in her book, so I’ll try to make time to read it.
